[Sophos Advisory] Internet Explorer 11 crashes with Sophos Central Endpoint and Intercept X installed

Hey Community,

This KB article describes a problem where Sophos Central Endpoint and Intercept X causes Internet Explorer 11 to crash when browsing a Flash page.

The fix is currently in development and will be pushed out to Central customers by the end of May 2018.

In addition to the slowness of IE, as of yesterday we're seeing popups on the client side and email alerts anytime a win10 client opens ie11 as well. Submitted a ticket to sophos yesterday, anyone else seeing this? Maybe new version of windows + interceptx?

Hello dan@,

The issue listed in this thread has been addressed in the latest Intercept X release

If you are still experiencing this problem, please check your Intercept X version. The roll out is still ongoing (until June 12th), so you may not have received it yet .

The issue listed here as per your link , seems to be a different one. Can you confirm?

Do you have a support case that I can review?
Or, if you have the latest Intercept X update and you are still experiencing the issue listed in this thread, could you please file a new case with support regarding your issue?
Be sure to DM me the ticket numbers so that I can follow-up internally and get you a status update as soon as possible.
