Delete Sophos ID Account

I want to delete my Sophos ID account.

Is it possible?
If so, what do I need to do?
I'm not very good at English, so some of the sentences may not be correct.
So it may look like spam. But I'm really in trouble.

    I have deleted your account from the first time you requested in the community, however, since you keep accessing and registering with different Emails I am not sure which email and ID are you referring to, but I keep deleting them,  If you need to delete your Sophos ID, you need to reach out to our Customer Care team, so they can delete your account. You can send me a PM if you have any questions.

  • Hello Emmanuel,

    I didn't realize that, so I registered in the community again. However, as you think, what I want most is to delete my Sophos ID.

    Now I opened the support page, looking for a way to contact the Customer Care Team. But I can't log in and it keeps saying AGENT OFFLINE. Am I on the wrong page?

    I don't speak English and would prefer to communicate via text. Is there any way to contact the team by text?

  • Sorry for the late reply, Emmanuel.

    I didn't take into account the time difference, so I couldn't chat with the agent. But I just got through to the agent and she said she would send me the update-Case Number xxxxxxxx.
    I was expecting something related to that to be emailed to me, but it doesn't look like it will be. Perhaps I need to log into the Support Portal? But I get a "Registration Request - Action Required" and the login fails.

    What should I do? Should I wait for more email? If so, how long will it be?

    I received the email that my Sophos ID has been deleted!

    But I can still sign in to my account...
    And this reply post is also successful...

    I'm pretty sure my Sophos ID is still alive. I'm confused by this situation.

    What should I do next?

  • Hello Omae,

    You would need to speak with Customer Care, your Sophos ID might different than your Sophos Community ID, so for example I can delete this ID you are using with your current email account and you won't be able to access again, unless you create a new one Sophos ID with the Same email account then it will recreate it, but if the Sophjos ID you’re using is the same as the one before, then it will be re-create it.

    Does that mean I can't try to sign in to see if my account has been deleted, and there's no way for me to check except by email?

    I'm confused.
    At midnight today (time in my country), I'm going to talk to the agent again.

    I didn't think it would be this hard to delete my account....

    I've decided to give up on the deletion.
    I was told that my home license would not allow me to delete it, and that my account would be automatically disabled after some time.

    Thank you for being so kind to someone who is about to leave.
