Important note about SSL VPN compatibility for 20.0 MR1 with EoL SFOS versions and UTM9 OS. Learn more in the release notes.

  • Thanks to the development for two features (only from the first things I read there):

    -Opt-Out of Assistant

-fixed IP for at least SSLVPN

For us the PPPoE Bugfix is missing but we knew that. So I hope the development can bring this one into MR1 manually again so that we can use the features mentioned above. Keep working on this way (to implement/fix annoying things or long desired features) your customers will appreciate it...

  • Looking at the release notes, it's great to see some DPI issues which existed since v18.5 EAP being fixed.

My XG 115w took around 10 minutes to upgrade from v19 GA, since then everything is working as expected.

  • Which PPPoE Bug do you refer to?

  • Neither on the release notes or the news post in the community explains how to disable the assistant.

In case anyone here is wondering, the option to disable it is available on the bottom of the "Admin and user settings" tab, which is located at the "Administration" page. (A page refresh is needed to see the changes after disabling.)

  • Have a look into 05251465. There was a problem with PPPoE automatic reconnect.

  • No improvements in IPv6 address management, very disappointing.

  • iMaps scanning does not appear to work, the messages do not have any reference to SASI.

Though the XG appears to be faster, though I think I made the same comment after the GA release, so I expect it is a function of the restart cleaning all caches and tmp locations. A week of use will show whether the throughput improvement is long term.

  • It seems to be using a lot less RAM. Been running 3.5 hours and averaging 67% RAM usage. Usage goes up over time, so it may settle in at a higher average, but v18.5 was using about 75% on average and v19 GA was using about 80% on average, for me.

Had a crash of v19 GA this afternoon where the blue (storage) light blinks like crazy and I slowly lose capabilities until the AP goes orange, etc and have to reboot. (This has happened maybe once a month for me, maybe once every two months.) Hopefully fixed in v19 MR1.

  • Hi,

Memory usage currently sitting around 84%, previously version was around 70-74%, so I would expect the usage to drop over the next couple of days
