I can't clean up a PUA threat

I would suggest you refer How to remove malware from a Mac OS X computer which contains step by step instructions. 

Important: If malware is detected on your computer, and Sophos Anti-Virus informs you that it must be cleaned up manually, this means that you must create a custom scan. 

Please expand on this. What do you mean by a Custom Scan...which will do what?

If Sophos is unable to remove Malware...what is a Custom Scan going to accomplish??

So far I have had about 4 Malware threats, and Sophos has NOT been able to do a anything for all 4. (Win7) Manual removal only.

Thats what I used to do before we had "Malware" protection from Sophos. Now that I have Sophos....I still have to remove them manually.
