I've updated my Mac and cannot 'contact primary server'. Using Home app 9.6.6. with OS X Yosemite 10.10.5

How do I rectify this issue?

Hi Jan,

Can you try removing the existing client (Uninstaller should be present in your mac) and then reinstall with the latest setup.

If you still face the issue please contact our support (You can contact the support from your Sophos Home Dashboard).
