case description limit

why is their a limit of 1024 characters when raising a support case? I spent five minutes raising a case, and then another 10 minutes rewriting it, checking the character count, and then rewriting it again to fit it in the field while still making sense.

how is this a useful limit? what if someone wanted to paste some log output so it saves time in having to transmit it later?

    The case Subject does have a limit of 255 characters; however, the case description limit is above 32,000 characters. I tested this again and the steps to reproduce a 1000-character limit.

    If you see the short limit character limitation in the "Description", this should be investigated, as the limit is 32,000 characters.
