Hello guys,

I need help Please, I install and configure SMC 9.0.6, then when i will connect android phone to this platform the connection feiled,

the error message below shown in my phone display.

someone help me please, to fix this issue

Hello,

we have the same error. After update on SMC 9.0.6 we have Problems to enroll new iPads. Sync failed, unknown error, pleas contact the Administrator. Can somebody help?

Can you please attach a screenshot of the error?

Please make sure that you have uploaded the SSL certificates which are presented to the mobile device when connecting to the Sophos Mobile Control server, with the help of this article and confirm that the external server name matches the one in the SSL certificate.

Thank you for your responce, about ssl certificate really did not upload them to the phone, only in the server, and for the error message is :

""impossible to configure sophos mobile control. indefinite communication error. please try again later or contact the administrator""

Hello Yashraj,

i don’t think the SSL certificates are the reason for this error. We are enrolling iOS Devices (iPads) with Apple-DEP. We have an Apple-DEP-Profile with the option „Install SMC-App“ enabled.

I get back my SMC-Server (on Premise Version in a VM) to Version 9.02 (rev.16500), the enrolling of the iOS (Version 12.4.1) device works fine. Sophos Mobile Control was installed and synchronizing with our SMC-Server.

I took a Snapshot of the VM and installed Patch 9.06. Enrolling the iOS Device works, SMC App is installed but Sync failed (see Screenshot) and the device is marked as unmanaged in the Mobile Control. Device that are already enrolled and managed are syncing, even if Patch 9.06 is installed.
