How do I correctly enable permanent protection on Xiaomi Redmi S2?
I gave 2 Xiaomi Redmi S2 to my mother and miazia, I want Sophos on their smartphones, but I can not properly set permissions on these devices that I know little about...
I'm a little surprised because Xiaomi is now among the most popular and recent updates of the application a little help should give it to the user!!!!!
Can anyone help me?
Hi Fedora Tux
Is there any alert/error shown in the Sophos application? If yes, please post a screenshot of that. Please give this thread a look and check if you are facing the exact same error. If so, please don't hesitate to follow the steps mentioned in that thread.
Thanks,
Yashraj Singha

Even if you give permission to request the protection is never active, where should I set it?
I have 2 Xiaomi Redmi S2 Gifted to my Mother and Aunt
On my Zenfone 3 it works...Xiaomi at the moment I know them little!!!!!

This error is thrown whenever Sophos application is not able to stay active in the background. After following the steps mentioned in this thread, can you please check your battery settings for battery optimization/battery mode? Please set it such that it allows applications to run in the background.

Already done and as you see from the screenshots other otions does not give and is no longer active energy saving on Sophos
However, it continues to request permissions at every start that even confirmed is the same obvious screen of the Smarphone!!!!!

No article is not of use given it does not seem to be successful operation or be sufficient
Sophos shows that alert when it is not able to stay open in the background and the OS snatches aways resources from it. I would request you to get in touch with our technical support staff by opening a support case. Alternatively, it getting a second opinion from the device manufacturer might help here.
Yeah i totally agree with u..Article is quite insufficient to get succesfull...Can u pls post some more details..Others are also giving same feedback
Practically I've tried them all, from enabling automatic start to other permissions ... even if I don't know what to post anymore, I think it should be the application to automatically provide some more detail on how to properly enable protection in devices that are practically the most popular in recent years!!!!!
