How to remove strange toolbar from my browser?

Can you please share some additional details regarding this (Operating system and the browser)? Is the Home page getting redirected to the reported site or do you have a toolbar added to your browser?

I would suggest you to start with the basic steps.

* Try removing the toolbar manually from the browser- settings?

* Checked your installed applications and see if there are any unknown applications installed recently.

* Try resetting the browser.

I am using MAC and Safari browser. I am not so good at computers, so I am not sure how to remove. I was trying to search the answer on google and found this removal tutorial but it didn't work for me. Maybe you can suggest any Sophos product for removing that toolbar virus?
