Low reputation apps on Android?

On my phone Sophos is showing a ' Malicious App' alert, describing it as Andr/Xgen2-CY in the pre-installed Sound Recorder. Naturally I tried to uninstall the app, but could only manage to 'Force Stop'. I also changed the 'Draw over' and Modify system' setting, deleted storage etc, but still concerned that the warning is still being shown in Sophos, can this be resolved? thanks.

I would like to know if you wish to whitelist the app or remove it to resolve the alert? Also, can you help me with the details of the app, Maybe a screenshot?

Hello Gowtham,

Having used Sophos for many years, I would be inclined to trust it's definition of the 'Sound recorder' being potentially malicious, so I'm not sure that whitelisting is what is needed, I would prefer removal. It's not much to go on but this is what shows in Settings/Apps. Thanks.
