Anyone had any luck getting bulk email approved?

Am I better off creating tickets when I need it rather than using the request system https://routerlogin.uno/?

Why do I even have to get approval from Sophos to enable bulk emailing for one of my users? How are they in a position to make a decision on legitimate use?

  • That is false.  I put in request yesterday, then put in ticket this morning.  Tech said I have to wait 72 hours for sophos to review the request.  This is OUR network, we are the ones that approve request on it.  You making administrators Ask sophos for permission is unacceptable.

This link specifically says you have to wait 72 hours, so it's not "automatically approved": Email sending limits and privileges - Sophos Central Admin

  • Hello,

Ahh, thank you for the clarification, I am sorry I misunderstood your point. As admin are the ones that tell Sophos what email addresses are going to be used to send emails for bulk.

But yes currently there’s a wait of 72 hours usually less for approving the privileges to the mailboxes you submit for this.

By automatically approved I meant to say after you do the submission no other step you need to follow, but yes isn't "automatic" in the sense of you select the user and add the privileges that I think is what you are looking for.

    Regards,
