Installation Fails on Hosts

We are having issues with a limited number of computers installing the Endpoint Software, where the download completes and installation starts and the following error message is displayed: "error opening installation log file verify specific log file location exists and is writeable".

The installer is being run as Administrator and the user running the program is a local admin on the workstation.

Has anyone seen this before? How do I resolve this?

    Thank you for contacting us. Although this would be an error expressed by MSI installer, it could point out to an error with respect to permissions of the user account to the installation logs folder due to which the installer may fail to progress further. A quick look into procmon should help us find out where the issue is. Can you please DM me your support case# for me to have a quick look at the issue?
