Sophos Central Login not possible

Hi,

it is not possible to login in
https://central.sophos.com/manage/login 
or in 
https://cloud.sophos.com/
while in
https://secure2.sophos.com/en-us/mysophos/my-account.aspx 
it does work with the sophos ID. 

Resetting the password is also not possible, giving the message
authentication failed
while entering the code recieved via email.


On the firewall when you need to enter the credentials for sophos central logn the message
Email address or password incorrect, verify your account credentials
appears.

  • Yeah, when I try to use my SophosID and not my Sophos Central account it's the same:

    So, I think it's still different here although they wanted to implement this idea of a unique Sophos ID, but you're right - the form is kind of misleading the user here.

    If the "Einen Augenblick bitte..." alert still is displayed and you can't continue and you also don't get a verification mail, please try to use a different browser, allow third-party cookies by adding an exception for *.sophos.com and also verify that no scripts, etc. are getting blocked.

    If you are still facing this error, I can create a new trial account and check out if it's the same problem for me. Just provide feedback if it works or not Slight smile

  • could you investigate or clarify, why the sign in form on cloud.sophos.com suggests to sign in with a Sophos ID? This leads to misunderstanding as the Sophos Central Account is a different pair of credentials than the Sophos ID at id.sophos.com or for community.sophos.com. Maybe you can forward this to the Central Product team. Thanks!

  • Hello Intrusus,

    When trying to access Sophos Central, you should see a Sign-in with Microsoft banner.

    When trying to access to Sophos ID (My Sophos) this banner shouldn't show, from here you should be able to access MySophos, Sophos Community, and Support Portal.

    I agree that this might cause some confusion, so I have passed your feedback to the Central Team.
