Uninstalling Sophos from Mac when app removed by throwing it into the bin.

Question

Hi, 
 
 I tried to uninstall Sophos by throwing the app into the bin, which was unsuccessful as the as I still get regular update notifications (pop-ups). How do I remove the remnants of the antivirus, please? These constant reminders are getting extremely irritating and I have to way to remove them.

 I have solution, you just need to follow this steps: 
 
 Use the Remove Sophos Endpoint tool
 
 Click the keys command + spacebar to open Spotlight. 
 Type Remove Sophos. Note: If the tool exists or has not been moved to Trash, Spotlight will find it. 
 Click enter to run the tool. 
 
Note: Sophos Anti-Virus cannot be uninstalled by dragging it from the Applications folder to the Trash. 
 Use the standalone Sophos anti-virus removal tool. 
 Use the terminal. 
 If you are prompted for a password, Type your macOS administrator password. 
 Enter the tamper protection password set in your policy. 
 If the uninstall still fails following the steps above, collect the SDU logs from the affected macOS then send it to Sophos Support.
