Users(Viewer/Admins) cannot see the devices assigned to them

Hi,

In iView, I have created several users with different roles(Viewer/Admins) and assigned devices to them. When the user logs in they cannot see any of the devices that were assigned to them.

Only the superadmin user account is able to view any of the devices on the iView server(Version SIVOS 03.01.1 100GB), currently we have 106 devices reporting to the iView server.

Has anyone any ideas of what I can do to fix this, or to investigate why the users cannot see the devices?

Hi,

It is verified as a Bug; devices defined in a group are not visible to any additional User/Admin except the default Admin account.

Reference ID: NCR-2806, the fix is planned in iView v3 MR2.

Considering the fact that iView v2 MR1 was released recently, I cannot confirm the ETA for MR2. i will try to remember and update this post if I get any information about the release.
