Is there a way to see the current active hotspot users/connections and is it possible to disconnect them?

Likely, this isn't possible at the moment. 

This is what I recommended from a past thread which looks like a similar ask:  Guest Hotspot - Is there anyway to capture or enforce a username ?

On the other hand, You may reach out to Support and have this as a Feature Request.
