Cannot connect to XG135

Hi,

I recently acquired a used XG135. When I got it, I plug an ethernet cable on Port1 and the light was on and told myself that all was ok then.

So I decided to make a reset factory, and since then the Port1 never show up. No lights, no connection on my computer.
I tought it could be a firmware issue and as there was an old firwmare (18.0.6) on the XG135, I give it a try. But there was no change.

At some point I was able to connect to another port (Port4) with a command like

ifconfig Port4  172.16.16.4 netmastk 255.255.255.0 up

I was even able to connect to the client portal on 172.16.16.16, but when I tried the admin portal I got the error :

"Forbidden

Access is forbidden to the requested page"

Since then, I can no longer ping the XG135.

Is anyone have an idea why the Port1 is not showing up from a reset factory XG135?

Does it exist a way to access the admin portal through another port, with which commands ?

Thanks.

  • Yes I did that. I thought that it will enable me to connect to Port 4. As I said, at some time I was able to ping 172.16.16.4, 172.16.16.16 and even have access to the client portal. But then, I lost the connection without knowing why.

I did multiple reset factory and then :

    system appliance_access enable

    ifconfig Port4  172.16.16.4 netmastk 255.255.255.0 up

The port 4 seems ok (lights are on). But I cannot ping it anymore.
