STUN question about

I noticed in The Logs from our Router that there is 1.25GB Upload on STUN and about 850MB Download STUN. Could someone please tell me what that could, I say could be ? Could it be video chatting over WhatsAPP OR FACETIME ?.

Hi JohnMMM , Thank you for reaching out to the community, yes STUN is widely used for WhatsApp/FaceTime Voice and Video calls and uses the UDP 3478. You can also block this protocol via application filter…

Thank you for reaching out to the community, yes STUN is widely used for WhatsApp/FaceTime Voice and Video calls and uses the UDP 3478.

You can also block this protocol via application filter, as Illustrated in the screenshot below:

That you ALL for your replies, rather than reply to you individually please accept as my Thanks. I am not too worried about Whats/App Facetime etc, what I was concerned about is downloading of large Video files ,or even uploading of same.
