Sophos firewall backup issue.

Sophos Firewall backup issue when we are trying to take backup from firewall it is prompting an error message "Backup could not be sent due to incorrect server configuration". We have rebooted the firewall multiple times then it is working fine also, this is just a workaround not a solution. Please help me with the proper solution for the same.

Hello Moiz Bagban This is likely to happen if there is an issue with the disk read/write events. It is better that you raise the support to review it further and avoid any issue going forward.

Check the disk space if all well, reboot the box once

Please share some more information like Sophos XG/S model number or it is virtual ?

Since when you are starting facing the same issue ?

Could you please share a snapshot of email action for the backup & test email and disk space output from the log viewer?

Also, please follow the below steps to check smtpd_main.log

# tail -f smtpd_main.log

#df -h

"Sophos Partner: Networkkings Pvt Ltd".
