Captive Portal

Hi All,

I'm facing issue with captive portal, some of my users are getting error The Connection has Timed out and the server is taking too long to respond. 

For some users captive portal is popoing automatically but for the some it's getting issue.

    Thank you for reaching out to Sophos Community.

    • Are all users experiencing the said issue?
    • How frequently does the issue occur?
    • Are the issues specific to certain devices?
    • Are they all connected to the same network? Same Firewall Rules,and so on.
    • Have you checked the log viewer for any errors or relevant information that may assist us?
    • How about the Session Timeout settings?
    • Have you tried to use a different browser/Clear Cache?

    Thank you for the reply.

    1. Some of the users are facing the same issue. 
    2. Twice a week mostly, I have configured such a way that every monday users will get a pop-up for the captive portal. 
    3. No.
    4. Yes all are in the same network and rules are also the same. 
    5. Yes checked the log viewer, and nothing was found.
    6. Haven't checked
    7. Yes tried different browsers as well, but the issue persists.

    Due to there being no logs found, I would recommend reaching out to Sophos Support and creating a case to have this thoroughly checked, also kindly share the case ID here for monitoring. Thank you
