Help me to Configuration of DHCP option 66/67 for PXE in Sophos firewall

1. Open Sophos Firewall
2. Select Network Services ->DHCP -> Options -> New DHCP option
3. Input the following details.
   • Code: filename
   • Name: type filename
   • Text: EFI\Boot\bootx64.efi or boot\pxeboot.n12
   • Scope: Global
   • Comment: PXE for ME
4. Click Save.
5. Add a New DHCP option to configure next-server details.
   • Code: next-server
   • Name: type next-server
   • Type: IP address
   • Address: Click "+" icon and select Host and enter the IP address of the computer where the central server is installed. For remote office, specify the IP address of the machine where distribution server of the remote office is installed.
   • Scope: Global
   • Comment: PXE for ME
6. Click Save

Hi,

what is the net mask size for your network, because your network has a different address to you server assignment?

255.255.254.0

The command below from the console worked to get 3CX phones to boot, it might work for your case as well as if you are using DHCP Option 66.

Accessing Command Line Console

Your command will look like this:

system dhcp dhcp-options binding add dhcpname Default_DHCP_Server optionname TFTP_Server_Name(66) value '192.168.2.4/boot/pxeboot.n12' (The last bit inside VALUE is the server path file from where boot will start)

If we need to delete you can do like this from the console:

system dhcp dhcp-options binding delete dhcpname Default_DHCP_Server optionname TFTP_Server_Name(66)
