Sophos rule and policies Issue

I wanna make a specific date schedule to block internet during holiday, but found issue as following

1) after inputting Start Date and End Date , the timing section do not have suitable criteria for me to select

Date range from 1/Sep to 1/Sep will block internet , and the timing section just only have the Mon, Tue...weekdays .......without any parameter for my specific date range to select

2) Timing Issue

    - Start Date , End Date have the time parameters to select but Timing section also has the time parameters to input , so which one can be refer, or which one is the right choice

Please advise, thanks......

  • Hi,

I am trying to understand what the issue is?

You would apply this to a firewall rule or series of firewall rules where you have identified the users you want to block.

  • Yes, in this screen when I selected a specific date range to run the policy it seems that timing field has no appropriate parameter for me to select (Mon, Tue.....) for the policy to run during the above start/End date.

Beside, Start/End date has its own timing range but the following timing field also has its own range. I got no idea on both field and which one should be used.

Since the second timing is a compulsory fields as well

So towards this screen , how to define a schedule date range like 1/9/21 by 00:00 to 23:59 to run the policy ?

    Thanks....
