Sophos Single Sign-on (STAS) has a delay of 1 minute before users can connect to internet

Question

Hello all. 
 
 I have a client having an authentication issue with STAS. After the user logs in, it takes STAS about a minute to recognize the login and allow the user out to the internet. I am unsure why this delay is happening or what to do about it. The problem started after we brought a new Server 2019 DC online and decommissioned their Server 2008 DC. 
 There are 2 checks in STAS that fail. Under "Test Connectivity", the "STAS Agent" and "STAS Collector" checks both fail. Screenshots attached.

Hi Bryan, 
 I had a similar problem. In my case I resolved by disabling the "Restrict client traffic during identity probe" in Configure> Authentication> STAS. Have you tried making this change?

Hi bryangritton STAS agent would help when you have multiple AD environment. 
 Please also enable Success and Failure events for authentication in AD
