  • Hi,

I think you mean port 3 is a Wan not a LAN? Please check your DNS settings to ensure the gateway WAN is providing the DNS entries not your MPLS.

  • Hi,

what devices are configured with 172.16.x.x addresses?

Can you reach the 8.8.8.8 server from within your LAN or even the WAN interface?

What functions does your router provide?

  • the devices configured with 172.16.x.x addresses are my local dns servers, they could resolve internet domains.

i can reach 8.8.8.8 from any computer in my Lan network.

when i tried the ping diagnostic tool in my firewall i got this result:

     port1 (LAN) couldn't reach 8.8.8.8

    port2 (MPLS) couldn't reach 8.8.8.8

port3 (INTERNET) could reach 8.8.8.8 and the ping works well
