Android devices turn off automatically at night

Thank you for reaching out to the Sophos Community Forum.

Could you help us with the following information, please?

• Is this issue affecting all the devices in your environment? Are they enrolled under "Full Device" management?
• What's the OS version running on these devices?
• Do you see any alerts on your dashboard whenever these devices reboot?
• Would you be able to check and confirm if there’s no auto restart setting configured on them?
• It would also help if you could collect the logs from one of the affected devices so we can look into it further.

• I think it is for all devices. Yes they are "Full Device" management.
• The devices that I heard from have Android 13
• No there are no allerts.
• There is noch auto restart settings or auto optimize with restart if necessary
• I'll pass on the log later

On one of the reported devices that automatically turn on/off at night, can you check if scheduled power On/off is enabled?
You can go to the device settings and look for "System Settings." Tab, look for "Scheduled power On/Off."Then, turn off all available schedules you can see on the settings.

unfortunately I didn't receive any answers from my employees yesterday. Apparently they're all away for the week.

There are no option for "Sheduled Power On/Off" on my test devices.

The logs are from a Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, but the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro and Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 also don´t have the option.

In Settings > Battery and device care > Care report (Above the statistics symbol) > by Last auto restart says "Never".

Can you please check if the "System update policy" within the Android Enterprise > Restrictions policy is set to "No policy"? If the setting is changed, it can cause your device to reboot without user interaction.

Outside of these settings, Sophos Mobile won’t restart your phone automatically. Let us know if you continue to experience issues.

yes there was "Postpone" selected and now I chosse "No policy".

We created the policies new with the EAP/TLS Wifi Problems. Maybe we have changed the option here.
