We are facing a situation where one of the AppleDEP imported devices was removed from MDM and due to that, we would need to re-enroll that device back in Sophos MDM.
When attempting to do so, there’s an error message – “Profile Installation Failed - The new MDM Payload does not match the old payload.”
Normally, we would just remove the device management profile from iPad general settings and re-enroll with no issues, however, when talking about AppleDEP devices – there is no way to remove it.
Is there any solution we might try to re-enroll the device again?
Please, any advices, ideas, thoughts about this.
