How Do I suppress Google email warning popups

So I'm a new user to Sophos Mobile Control and have rolled it out to the 60 Android handsets in our organisation...

Things are working generally OK but there are  a few (seemingly obvious) things that I can't see to see how you do.

Obviously when I set the 60 handsets up I used a single corporate Gmail account, this worked fine, but the handsets keep getting warnings that they need to log into Gmail - again obviously my users don't know the Gmail details, nor should they, these are corporate phones that are locked down so end users can't fiddle with them.

I cannot seem to find a setting anywhere that suppresses these pop-up messages, in fact it would be nice to suppress all of them as we keep getting messages about extending battery-life as well

Has anyone successfully used this software to set up corporate phones or it more designed for home-user stuff?

  • Hi

Are you using Sophos Mobile on Central? If yes, then please enable remote assistance on your account and PM me your license number.

Which enrollment mode did you select your Android devices for Sophos Mobile? Device owner or Profile owner?

Please provide a brief description of your enrollment process. (Or a guide which you have followed)

    Thanks,

Thanks for taking the time, I have sent you the PM as requested.

The initial install was done with the assistance of a Sophos partner, but we had some major challenges (couldn't get the Sophos mail client to work, ended up having to use Outlook) and so ran out of time to get the little things like this sorted.

We are (I believe) set up in device mode, but in order to enroll a device I must power up the new handset and then download the Sophos Mobile Control app - in order to be able to download anything from the App store I have to register for a gmail account - rather than do a different account for each handset I just did one generic one for the whole company - this has worked but left me with the situation I have now.
