Manually removing Genieo adware/PUA from Mac?

Question

'Genieo' has been quarantined as adware/PUA. Automatic clean-up has failed and Sophos is saying that manual clean-up is required. The file path is /Volumes/ProntoInstaller/ProntoInstaller.app/Contents/MacOS/ProntoInstaller. On the assumption that I could manually clean-up if I located the file and deleted it, I've managed to find 'Volumes', but not the rest of the file path. Haven't been able to create a custom scan. No expert and keen to get rid! Can anybody assist? Many thanks in advance. Paddy

 Sophos is recognizing your Pronto printer software as a Potentially Unwanted App. Eject the Pronto software image (.dmp or .iso), and the issue will be gone. You can also ignore the issue as I am sure you need you printer software. 
 A Potentially Unwanted App is not an immediate danger to your data or system security. A PUA is not a virus, password stealer/cracker, keystroke logger, or ransom ware. A PUA is just an app, plugin, or other program that could potentially cause headaches; such as: adware, toolbar installers, and bitcoin miners. It is something that you have to determine in your own or through policy if you really need to remove it, or if it is really not an immediate threat to you.
