One of our customers recently received an email which included a phishing link. I already submitted the website to Sophos Labs through FileSubmission: https://support.sophos.com/support/s/filesubmission?language=en_USBut when I try to report the email as spam in Sophos Central as described in this article: https://support.sophos.com/support/s/article/KB-000033422?language=en_USI get a red message saying "Something went wrong" in the bottom right. Could this be due to lack of permissions? I have "Partner Help Desk" permissions within Sophos Central. If this is the issue It would be nice to have a message that clearly tells me I don't have the permissions or document the permissions you need in the documentation: https://docs.sophos.com/central/Customer/help/en-us/ManageYourProducts/Overview/LogsReports/Logs/EmailHistoryReport/index.html#report-detailsBecause there is no mention of it there.
Hello Jurre,
Thank you for contacting the Sophos Community.
I was able to report an email with Super Admin privileges and got the same error as you did with Help Desk, so most likely it’s a permission issue.
I would need to confirm first if this is intended or if it’s an unintended error.
Regards,
Hello Emmo,Your message confused me a little bit did you mean that when you report an email with Super Admin privileges it worked and with the Partner Help Desk privileges it doesn't work? Or did you mean it doesn't work with either?Kind regards,Jurre Mijs
I meant to say with Super Admin it works, with Help Desk it doesn't.
Hello Emmanuel,
Thank you for your help that answers my question and indeed it would probably be better if there were a specific message instead of such a general/default message.Kind regards,Jurre Mijs
