Sophos email has begun suddenly to delete emails from a particular sender to a particular recipient , as the user set with "block sender" this behavior,
but he told me that it hasn't set anything to cause this.
Is there a way to see individual "user block" lists or to understand what's going on ?
I opened a case to support but is't still unresolved....
please enable the self service portal and let the affected user login there to check the personal allow / block list. Also check the global allow / block list.
I resolved put in the global allow list the whole domain of the sender , due to enteprise policy I cannot enale the SSP for normal users.
But what's happening is a real mystery .
I have also noticed that almost every single time one of my users reports that someone called to tell them they were getting a bounce message is because of this "User Block List". Adding the domain to the global allow seems to resolve it. However, I found one today where I could actually log in to the SSP as the user. The email address in question was NOT in their list. Something else is happening.
Hi, I had the same issue but after reading the comments from here I got my solution, Thanks for this community.
If you cannot enable the SSP than also disable the setting in Policies that they are allowed to block senders. That is a support nightmare.
