Failed to deploy SSVM - Network Issue

Hello,

as many of us, I try to deploy in vain the SSVM on VSphere.

I already opened a case to Sophos support but they are useless. The guy asked me to put one of my ESX host outside my cluster and try again but I got exactly the same error which is : in add_network_card NameError: global name 'dc_name' is not defined

It always crash after the OVF uploading and network card configuration, I tried many network configurations, including another virtual network, but nothing work.

According to some topic I read on this forum, I also tried to disable the DRS, restart our NSX manager and allow everything on the firewall without effect.

I am very sorry to hear you are not satisfied with Sophos Support. I have reviewed the ticket and it looks like they have requested additional information from you today. If you could please provide that, that should help them move forward with the troubleshooting.

Not sure if you have done this already, but there is a Startup Guide that may help you ensure that your system meets the requirements and that your settings are correct. Please take a look at this document. (Especially the Network Requirements section)

And, could you kindly verify that the host can reach Sophos Central correctly? :
Sophos Central: Domains and ports required for communication to and from Sophos Central Admin and the Sophos Central managed client software

Another suggestion, just to rule out a Firewall issue , do you have a secondary network, such as a guest network that you could test to see if that makes a difference?
