    managed by Central, isn't it? HandleNoPolicy suggests that it has never received the updating policy. What is its compliance status in the Admin Console? Which components are installed - just AutoUpdate and MCS?

    Hello Bruno Novis,

    please check the AdapterStorage whether there's a SAUPolicy as described in the article, it likely isn't.
    Seems that MCS doesn't talk with Central (as Last Activity is a day ago) so inspecting the MCS Client (and Agent) logs would be the next step.

    Hi Again.

     

    I checked the article and found out that the folder in C:\ProgramData\Sophos\Remote Management System\3\Agent\AdapterStorage\ALC is empty.

    So I copied the folder C:\ProgramData\Sophos\Remote Management System\3\Agent\AdapterStorage from another server but the error persists.

    the problem is that the server certificate failed validation. MCS uses a self-signed certificate - please note that it is using SHA-1. I'm afraid that I can't be of more help here as I'm not using Central/MCS but maybe this information is of some use.

    I did resolve by reinstalling sophos endpoint.

    Had issues with tamper protection but it´s all good now.

    I found another issue.

    The sophos endpoint is updated and protected on server but the status is not updating on Central.

    Any help?

    Hello Bruno Novis,

    the status is not updating
    you mean the Last Activity in the Endpoint Agent Summary is (still) not updated? The MCS logs should show if there are communication issues.

    BTW: This topic belongs to Central (you have a better chance to get a helpful reply there), I'd have already moved this post but I can only do so after you have joined the Central group.
