Sophos STANDALONE AV unable to update

Hello,

 

we are using "Endpoint Protection Advanced - Competitive Upgrade"

It is not possible to run Update on standalone notebooks used outside from company network, with installed standalone version of sophos AV.

 

Is it possible, that our product version does not allow direct updating standalone sophos AV from Sophos servers?

We do not have a dedicated Sophos Update Server in our DMZ, just a SEC Server which can not be reached from outside.

    Failed to authenticate suggests that the credentials are not correct. Did you use the same credentials as in SEC's Update Manager configuration?

    thank you for the answer.

    If installing SEC, setup asks for username and password, we used a domain account in the following format: doman\user and a related password.

    But our Sophos account which we use to login on website, is a different one. I used this Sophos account I'm currently logged in here.
