I need to monitor dropbox. Need to see what file names are being uploaded.
Under Rule content for destination is: which of the applications would you use to monitor the dropbox client?

That KB article only talks about application control which only gives Blocked or Authorized. No data monitoring.
I need to allow access but monitor what data is being uploaded. Just like the logs you get from data monitoring for a USB drive. The whole file path and name.
Hello Navar Holmes,
blocking the client application with Application Control is the first step. This way you force the users to upload via the browser.
Data Control doesn't monitor arbitrary applications but it does monitor browser uploads. This applies only to the browser listed in the rule so you might want to block the other browsers as well.

I don't want to block dropbox from the endpoint as I would get better results by blocking dropbox at the firewall.
And for staff the need to use dropbox, I must be able to see what is being uploaded even if it is just the file path and name.
As it is right now all sophos can do is On or Off and no logging.
