Sophos Central - login security questions SAML, multi-factor and others

Does Sophos Central have IP filtering, meaning you can only access it from controlled IP's?

I do see that it does have some multi-factor capabilities per the article below, how about any others?

Does Sophos Central allow any SAML solutions, Ping, Okta, Sailpoint, MS? If they don't when on the roadmap is it?

  • HI ScottHolm,

We do not have a feature on Sophos Central to allow/deny access from certain addresses. Also The Google Authenticator is used for 2-factor authentication for Partner Portal .

  • So companies are ok storing their bitlocker keys let alone the mgmt for their endpoints behind a portal on the web accessible by a plain username and password?

I feels like any SaaS offering from any company needs to be in-tune with standard set of security methods. None of this technology is new by the way. Seems like Sophos dropped the ball on this since there has been may iterations of the SC product when first introduced.

I guess we are staying with their EP on prem for a while.....
