Central admin report

In the central admin endpoint is there a web traffic report of all websites accessed in specific date/time ?
How to "limit"/deny the web access in a certain period of time ?

  • Hi Electrica ,

Yes, you may get the report as per the Time/date/system/URL/category etc... in Event Viewer as per the snap shot.

As for the second query you may set the web restrictions but for this you would need to policies.

Policy 1: User Policy, in the Web Control Section you would need to set the Time for which the policy shall remain active.

Policy 2: Base Policy, You may need to block all the Categories under web control.

The theory behind this setup is based on the Policy activated During the Time Specified , If the Time is not matched it would follow the base Policy . SO if your Policy is specified to allow web sites for specific time the policy should be around for that duration , after that it will fall back to Base Policy and would follow that policy . So you may allow few/all/none Websites per your requirement . I have Shared some snaps for reference .
