Active Directory Sync with Sophos Central

 We provide an option to import your user from your AD  to our central account, This is an option for any organization with an Existing AD to manage the users .

Thanks for the clarification.! Is AD Syn necessary to Implement Sophos Central ?

I am not sure if it is necessary, but if you use the Email Security piece and have any users with email aliases it is required for that.  There is no other way to get email aliases into the Email Security piece without the AD Sync tool.  That is the situation I was in, so I started using the AD Sync tool right from the get-go.  It was really easy to setup and use, so if you are worried about it being difficult, I wouldn't shy away from it.  Now that I have it setup and configured, any time I add a user to AD I just re-run the tool and it adds the new user to Sophos Central all in about 2 minutes.  Very efficient.
