I've seen a demonstration of how Intercept X will stop encryption on the C:, but what I want to know is if it will also work on any mapped drives as this is where most of the damage is done.

Hi Samuel,
Intercept X would analyze the file behavior on running in your system. It would not scan and block files that are processed on other location . For clarification , say you have 3 system and a NAS drive .
If the the file is nested on your NAS drive , it would not have the means to process your files . As for a system, if you access such file then Intercept would identify and block the Execution and it would protect your current system.
In a case for 3-4 systems in the network , if 2 systems have intercept X and others do not . If such files are accessed then your two systems are protected , and you may delete the file as it is locked from executing on that vary system. As for other system no protection .
