We do software development. The endpoint is the latest build of Sophos Central.
The end users are complaining that their builds get corrupted when Sophos is running on their PC. We've stopped all the Sophos protection points on the PC and it made not change. I have screenshots of the error they get when running gmake.exe with cl.exe.
I've added the binaries to the exclusion list and added the directories in which they compile their software to the exclusions too and that did not make a difference. At the time when the problem occurs we notice that Sophos Data Recorder Software spikes dramatically.
Once uninstalled and rebooted normal function is possible.
