Duplicate Device Detection

Hi,

We have some devices detected as cloned devices by Sophos Central. Old devices last communication time stamp practically same as new device install time.

One of them had been cloned twice in last 2 days (3 device copies now).

We appreciate your reaching out to the Sophos Community Forum.

This issue occurred between 8th August 2024 and 13th August 2024. This issue was caused by a performance issue in our Central backend that incorrectly triggered the Duplicate device detection logic. I suggest you refer to this article on removing the duplicate device from the central console.
