we are using Intercept X Advanced for Server. I am working for Genesys telecom labs. I would like to know the steps how to configure an alert for the license limit.
We have a situation that [regarding licensing] usage value exceeds the limit. No alert has been shown in the sophos central dashboard.
I would like to get an alert in the dashboard and also an email alert for super admin users.
could anyone assist on the same?

May I know if you see a banner on your Central dashboard saying that the license has exceeded the limit?

I have checked this on my end, Sophos Central does not send any email alerts for license usage. However, a banner would be displayed in the dashboard saying that the limit had been exceeded. Initiating license usage alerts is currently not available, but if you'd like, you can submit this as a feature request.
If you do not see a banner, may I know where in Central have you checked and confirmed that the usage has indeed exceeded the limit? I suggest reviewing the following KBA. It provides a detailed explanation of how license usage is calculated and see if any of the given scenarios explains your license and usage count.

It is not yet possible to query licensing data via API. I found this article that provides steps for manually identifying endpoint license usage. There's also a PowerShell script that you could use, which should provide licensing usage. However, it may not be 100% accurate, but this is the closest we've got as of now. Can you please check and see if it helps with the data you're looking for?
