Endpoint slow down internet speed

Hello,

We got a dedicated optical fiber 1gb Down/up .

With the endpoint installed, the speed download seems to be block around around 150 to 300 mb/s. Upload is correct.

IF i uninstall it, then the speed go back to normal with around 900 mb/s. Tests are made through NPERF. 

I tried a to play with settings on sophos central but none of them seems to make it work normally.

Does someone experiencing this issue or does know how to fix it ?

    Thank you for reaching the community forum. Can you try disabling Sophos Network Threat Protection services on one of your system and test the status? There’s a high probability that the issue you're currently experiencing is related to the known issue that we're seeing that involves SNTP component. If it confirms the issue, I would suggest you raise a support case and DM me the case ID so I to link your case to the existing Jira that we have.

    We are experiencing similar issues. After uninstalling the endpoint we have similar download speeds on our internet link. (200/200)

    However with sophos endpoint installed it drops to 200/120.

    Is there any solution?

    As my current situation, we made differents tests. As i understand it, They are releasing some BETA update for the moment but it is still not solved for me. My agent is in 2022.3.0.56 BETA.

    Until then, they have a workaround that lower the security but solve the issue.
