Send us new sophos safeguard 8.2 win client and mac client support list with OS version

Hi Paresh - As I've mentioned before, all the installers (for PC and Mac) and the server are within the one main zip file.

You'll need to create/have an account and log in here - https://www.sophos.com/en-us/support/downloads.aspx 

Assuming you have a licence - You should be able to see SafeGuard Enterprise listed and you'll be able to download the complete installer. It's large (1.22 Gig) so may take a while.

Could you please suggest which link is the latest as we need to plan for 8.2 installation at the client side and client is having some win 7 pro system then what we do in that case

Both are the same things. This article has release notes and has also included system requirements for Safeguard 8.20

If your environment is only having Windows 7 clients, upgrade to 8.20 is not the correct option as because it is using the client 8.10.2 for the windows 7 machines.

Windows 7 is not supported by the client of Safeguard 8.20. Below information is mentioned in the article which you have mentioned above.

"Windows 7 is not supported by the SafeGuard 8.20 Client. Windows 7 clients, running SafeGuard 8.10.2 can, however, be managed by a SafeGuard 8.20 backend. The required SafeGuard 8.10.2 Client is included in product download of version 8.20."

Just to update you,

We have built the safeguard 8.1 console and now we are planning to deploy the new safeguard 8.2 on the another site .

Hence we need the clarification on the win 7 system.

As understand here,

IF we built the new safeguard 8.2 to the new site then we are able to encrypt the system using 8.1 Win 7 client ,is it correct?

Exactly, Safeguard 8.20 has module of 8.10.2 for windows 7 client which will communicate with the Safeguard 8.20 server.
