Cyberoam SMTPS Scanning Certificate

Hello,

I am having a problem configuring the SMTPS scanning certificate for my appliance.

Currently, I have a virtual host firewall rule permitting traffic from the WAN zone (public Internet) to a LAN zone. This allows SMTP/s traffic to my email server. I am trying to enable SMTP/S scanning.

I have a certificate issued by a trusted Certificate Authority which secures my email server. I install this certificate on the Cyberoam, I am select this certificate under Anti-Virus > Email > SMTPS Scanning CA.

But when I check my Mailserver TLS Cert Chain there was an Issue the Cyberoam SSL CA was in the Cert Chain not my trusted CA.

The communication was encrypted, but the Cyberoam SSL CA was not veryfied my domain.

Why used the Cyberoam the wrong CA Certificate, when my own trusted was selected ?

HI Michael ,

When you have assigned the certificate on SMTPS scanning. Were you able to restart the system or service?

Hi Aditya,

The Service and system was restarted, but no change, the issue was the same.

Hi Michael,

It would seem it has some issue with the OS, I would recommend you to open a support Ticket and allow our engineer to collect the logs and Samples from your Cyberoam OS and investigate this issue further .

Hi Michael,

Hi Aditya,

the support told me in an chat, i must create the SSL Cert CSR at the Cyberoam.

Than the cert should sign with the CA and then import the trusted Cert into the Cyberoam.

My CSR was not created at the Cyberoam, that was the issue.
