I wasn't given a tamper protection password for my trial version of Sophos

I wasn't given a tamper protection password for my trial version of Sophos and now I when I try to disable Sophos it asks for my "tamper protection password".

Any ideas what I can do?

Hi Christian, my trial version was with Sophos Central.

Hello ,

the device should have registered in the Central Dashboard - there you should be able to manage Tamper Protection.

I've adjusted the settings on tamper protection to off, however it still asks for a tamper protection password when I try to uninstall.

Hello Brendan O'Brien,

the device should apply the policy more or less immediately unless there's some issue.
There's a last-resort method when the endpoint doesn't receive the policy.
