Sophos Data Recorder Software - high CPU usage and battery drain

I have the same problem. How do I do? I need a solution

We don't have a solution yet. I recorded a ticket with Sophos, and I'm waiting for them to respond.

Hi Bob,

Thank you but it's not necessary. I had contact with support this morning. I provided some log files so I hope they can find something so we can all go back to being happy users again :)

i have not been there for days so have you found a solution?

I still have no reply on the issue. I reported it at Sophos before the weekend, and I gave them the debug logging, screenshot of the issue, and some other log files. After that I got no response anymore.

I got a respond from my admin. He simply said it's an anti-virus, and i must not do anything with it. He's not really helpful.

The high CPU usage is gone. I'm unsure if he had changed anything

I'm still keeping an eye on Sophos processes!

So far I did not come any further with Sophos Support. They want me to collect some debug logs on the users computer when they experience the problem. But my users did not complain about it for the pas two weeks. So for now I close the case. I instructed my users to collect the debug log when the problem occurs, then w'll open a new case. If I have something new on this, i'll let you guys know.
