In my IT position, I was assigned the role to take care of the Sophos server and software. The previous person didn't document very much, and management just gave me some PDF files to read. Fortunately, the server seems to be updating, and the clients are connecting and updating as well.
My challenge is that I would prefer a more structured class or seminar or something to learn more about the tools we are using so that I can support them better, and keep up with updates and upgrades as possible and necessary. We use the Endpoint AV tools and server, as well as the safeguard encryption and secure email.
Thusfar, I have not had any troubles maintaining these, but I really would like to learn more about them, their consoles and how to keep them updated.
any suggestions or comments?
