I have seen this error before when trying to open the PM Console without the PureMessage services running, can you ensure the needed PM services are started on the machine?
The error indicates there is an issue in the transport protocol sink, you may want to get in touch with Support so they can advise how to check, unregister and then re-register the PureMessage sinks (there is a tool which does this which support can send you the link to) which may go along way to fixing or at least diagnosing the root cause.

Now I am trying to remove pure message completely. My intention is to re-install afterward but now it is not letting me do that. Probably some portions are still stucked in the registry. Even though, I have manually tried to remove all sophos related things from registry but no luck yet. Any suggestion for uninstalling PM?
