Puremessage vs. Virtual Email Appliance

Hello, what is the difference between virtual email appliance and PureMessage? I can't find any comparsion. thanks.

    The virtual email appliance is an all-inclusive software product where as PureMessage for UNIX is an application only product. They are based on the same backend for protection of Anti-Spam and Anti-Virus. The virtual email appliance is a managed product whereas PureMessage is not.  PureMessage has a little more flexibilty and customization where the email appliance does not.

    What would you recommend me to trial? If the antimalware and antispam capablities are same in both solutions, what is more powerful? What is better for MSP solution? thx
