Typical response from Sophos, late to the party again and hiding the fact of the actual release since they have no idea. This is Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2007 all over again!! They must think that the release date is a national security secret.
History tells us that we have to wait at least 6 months for them to get PureMessage ready for 2010.
I’’’’d like to provide a couple of comments in response to this thread.
On the question of the timing of the next release, while future plans are subject to change, our current target is to start a beta for the next PureMessage version supporting Exchange 2010 in February 2010, with full availability targeted for ~April 2010. We should start recruiting beta participants in the next few weeks, and we’’’’d love to have anyone interested in Exchange 2010 or the other features in the release participate.
Regarding the comment on PureMessage supporting new platforms/technologies after Microsoft has released them, we strive to deliver support as close to Microsoft’’’’s availability as possible, but it’’’’s not always feasible for us to match Microsoft’’’’s release dates without negatively affecting our ability to deliver other high-priority features.
We not only have to consider Exchange releases but also updates to Windows and SQL Server, which means a number of Microsoft releases during the course of a year can affect PureMessage. We’’’’ve been preparing for Exchange 2010 support for some time (for example, we’’’’ve been involved in Microsoft’’’’s TAP program throughout the development of Exchange 2010, testing our integration with various builds and providing feedback).
While we considered releasing Exchange 2010 by itself in a release closer to Microsoft’’’’s release date, we also have some other important features planned to be available in the April timeframe that couldn’’’’t be delivered sooner. Separating the releases would have caused delays to the other features and also would have resulted in two beta programs in a short time, so we chose to combine the features into one release.
We understand that being a bit late with our support presents a challenge for customers planning to deploy Exchange 2010 immediately, but hopefully our timing can work for most customers who will be planning their upgrades over the next few months or more.
I believe the following page lists all current betas when available. It's blank at the moment but I assume in February the PureMessage beta link will appear.

In this release we are including support for Microsoft Exchange 2010 and database mirroring. Please register your details if you wish to join the beta program which we expect to be available towards the end of February 2010.
PureMessage for Microsoft Exchange 3.1 is due for release in early to mid May. The date is not yet committed but expect an update to this post when confirmed.
